Miscellaneous
Protocols
Purpose:
To let
applicants,
new
members
and
existing
members
know
additional
rules
that
apply
and
additional
information
that may
not fit
under a
specific
category
but wish
for
everyone
to know.
Methods:
-
Remember
we
do
volunteer
work.
The
idea
is
to
help
people
better
understand
their
experiences
and
for
us
to learn
and
expand
our
knowledge
in a
positive
environment.
If for
some
reason
you
are
unhappy
with
the
direction
the
group
is
going
please
address
this
with
the
Director.
While
it
is
hard
to
keep
everyone
happy
all
the
time
we
will
certainly
do
our
best.
-
IMPORTANT:
The
protocol
on
investigations
will
be
to
keep
all
investigators
in
the
investigation
location
at
all
times
during
the
course
of
an
investigation.
It
is
not
believed
that
a
smaller
amount
of
people
in a
building
is
necessary
to
experience
something.
Group
sizes
may
be
increased
to
keep
larger
separations
between
each
other
within
the
location.
It
is
also
extremely
important
that
people
always
feel
part
of
the
group
and
get
as
much
time
to
investigate
as
everyone
else
since
in
most
cases
people
have
traveled
a
good
bit
to
get
to
the
investigation
and
are
freely
giving
up
their
personal
time.
In a
good
number
of
investigation
locations
there
will
be
other
people
present
other
than
group
members
i.e.
historical
society
members,
business
owners
and
home
owners
and
since
we
are
there
to
help
them
either
see
if
there
is
paranormal
activity
at
the
location
or
verify
and
explain
possible
paranormal
activity
it
is
virtually
impossible
to
ask
them
to
leave
if
they
want
to
be
there.
It
also
helps
us
build
relationships
with
our
clients
which
hopefully
makes
them
more
comfortable
with
us
and
more
comfortable
with
their
situation.
-
IMPORTANT:
Decisions
on
grouping
of
people
during
an
investigation
are
only
made
by
the
Director
or
Co-Director
if
the
Director
is
not
present
-
During
an
investigation
ALWAYS
make
sure
at
least
one
member
in
the
group
you
are
in
has
an EMF
meter,
thermometer,
camera
and
audio
recorder
before
going
to
your
assigned
location
-
If
you
bring
a
new
piece
of
equipment
on
an
investigation
you
must
know
how
to
use
it
prior
to
the
investigation.
If
you
are
fumbling
around
with
new
equipment
because
you
have
not
taken
the
time
to
learn
how
to
use
it
prior
to
bringing
it
to
the
investigation
you
will
be
asked
to
put
it
away
until
you
have
a
chance
to
become
familiar
with
using
it.
-
During
an
investigation
NEVER
speculate
with
clients
as
to
what
is
going
on
at
their
location.
ALWAYS
nicely
explain
to
them
that
we
must
first
review
the
collected
evidence
before
we
can
come
to a
proper
conclusion.
-
Cell
phones
can
be
on
during
the
investigation
(for
emergency
call
purposes)
but
they
need
to
be
on
vibrate
or
silent/quiet.
If
you
are
receiving
excessive
calls
and
disrupt
the
group
you
will
be
asked
to
either
turn
off
the
phone
or
leave.
No
exceptions.
-
Email
accounts
(ghostnspecter.com
)
will
be
provided
for
permanent
members.
These
accounts
are
to
used
for
all
group
related
communications.
This
is
an
effort
to
keep
things
easier
and
more
straight
forward
for
everyone.
If
you
are
unfamiliar
how
to
setup
you
email
account
instruction
and
support
will
be
provided.
-
So
members
can
set
their
expectations
reasonably
investigations
are
usually
not
a
year
around
thing.
More
often
than
not
we
find
that
our
busiest
periods
are
August
until
Halloween
and
the
slowest
are
November
thru
February
(holidays,
the
weather,
illnesses etc).
This
may
change
some
but
again
setting
expectation
up
front
is
what
we
are
about.
-
During
slow
periods
members
are
encouraged
to
help
find
investigations
for
the
group,
write
an
article
for
our
upcoming
articles
section,
read
up
on
topics
or
equipment
and
just
in
general
try
to
expand
their
knowledge
and
thinking
in
the
area
of
the
paranormal.
If
members
are
interested,
additional
meetings
can
also
be
arranged
so
everyone
learns
to
be
comfortable
with
each
other
and
trust
each
other.
-
We
will
try
to
hold
meetings
bi-monthly.
It
is
difficult
to
get
a
group
of
volunteers
together
on a
regular
basis
with
jobs,
family
etc
but
it
is a
necessity
that
we
try
to
do
so
in
order
to
keep
the
group
organized
and
engaged.
-
Serious
arguments
between
members
cannot
and
will
not
be
tolerated
especially
at a
clients
location.
If
there
is a
disagreement
please
get
the
Director
and
either
all
persons
involved
or
one
at a
time
discuss
the
issue
with
the
Director
outside.
-
If
you
have
a
problem
with
either
the
Director
or
another
member
you
are
expect
to
address
this
issue
with
the
Director
in a
constructive
manner.
"He
said"
She
said"
issues
can
result
in
termination
for all
parties
under
certain
circumstances
including
lying
and
the
inability
to
backup
claims
with
facts.
Best
thing
is
always
be
honest
and
upfront
in
all
your
dealings
-
ALWAYS
disclose
whether
you
intend
to
attend
an
investigation
outside
the
group.
While
we
do
not
frown
upon
this
it
should
be
common
courtesy
to
tell
the
Director
since
scheduling
issues
could
come
up.
-
ALWAYS
know
that
dual
membership
is
available
should
you
want
to
be
part
of
another
group
as
well.
This
will
be
handled
on a
case
by
case
basis.
-
Above
all
ALWAYS
help
the
client,
learn
as
much
as
possible,
enjoy
and
be
safe.
